Your database saves data on the actual device, taking up space on the phone? Or is it a server?

If a user is filling a form and he switches to some other app in between so we will save the contents of the form to db in onPause() and write the content of the db back to the form in onResume()??

How would I go about making an app that connects to a central online database? Like if I have an app that can track the quantity of a certain object (with a specific numerical ID) and update the quantity into the database to track the quantity over time?

Hi, you think it's possible for you to take some time and do these database thingies in MySQL/MariaDB?
and in that the best practice of using a returned JSON object in Java, like just use as is or maybe creating Java-classes of each DB-table and use that, etc etcGood work though, learned a lot in here π

Watch Psycho Pass, Ghost in the Shell, or Steins;Gate. They aren't movies, but if you have not seen them, they will fulfill your sci-fi desires (even more so than movies because they will take more time to get through).
