    why the fuck r.Next() doesnt work ? it says that Random does not contain the definition of Next…

    Actually, the default value for a byte is 0, not null. It's still a primitive type.

    you should know that if you write:
    r.Next(0,100);
    it will generate a random number between 0 and 99
