How To Use Parse (Swift, Xcode) – Ep 9 – Parse Local Datastore

[ad_1]
How To Use Parse with Swift and Xcode
Lesson 9
In this lesson, we learn how to store objects into the local database or datastore. It works very similar to storing data and querying the Parse backend!

In this series, I’ll show you guys how to leverage Parse in your Xcode projects and apps to save data and media (such as images and sounds) and then to retrieve them through the Parse API.

Parse is a backend as a service that gives your app database abilities without having to manage your own. The free tier is very generous and sufficient for most apps.

Hi, i'd like to know how parse react when there are already local data and I call pin, will it re-pin all the data from the server or will it only pin the new ones?

I need to know this so I can do my code accordingly.

Don't know if you've seen it yet, but they announced yesterday that Parse is going to be shut down. Most annoying of them!
