When he spoke of the command line and semi colons . Did he mean that the command line for every query you have to put a semi colon , even for a single query ? or is it just for multiple queries ? Confused.

-
Good to know about the Case's, my lecturer doesn't abide by these rules.
I must inform her 😉 -
I'm having an issue with this. Whenever I try to run several queries at once, it doesn't work. It only shows the last query. For example, when I type in
"SELECT city FROM customers;
SELECT id FROM customers;"
it only shows the id's. What am I doing wrong? -
Thanks!
-
look at his PHP tutorials it will explain how you can do those things minus making the forum he only gives you the tools to make what you desire its up to you to do it if he held your hand how would you learn
-
i have notice you use phpBB for your forums, do you use host gator for your user database there?
And how about a tutorial on the steps to take making a website with forums and a database ofcourse with the steps on conecting a webpage with your forums and the database to forums? like once you have everything setup. i dunno if i explained it right. -

what's your problem jerk? is it a problem that I like Bucky's way? get a life.
-
this is how I would teach this at school if I was a teacher. just fire up a small website and do interesting queries. right now I'm being taught by booooooooring sql statements…. 🙁
-
SQL is a language. MySQL is an interpreter for it. Go back to lesson 1 🙂
-
You will litrally get fured!
-
….im gonna be honest,i dont understand all this stuff =S
-
Thank you Bucky
-
Bucky, say: item, fired, and "-"
-
@truthIsStranger Yh that's true but i'm learning Database at Uni and they have never told us to use upper case for the sql keywords, I guess all environments are different but we can easily adapt to writing upper case 😉
-
@thaqalain10
Notepad++ is a great tool, my favourite. But that's still an awful idea. If you try that in the corporate environment, like he said in the video, you could get canned. Remember not everyone is going to be using the same tools / IDE as you or even any tools at all; reading through any of that code in phpmyadmin or an interface of their own would be so difficult you'd be told to do it over again. -
i love u !!! u;re the only one of those youtubers that actually speaks ENGLISH!!!!
keep up the good work! -
ooo i just completed mysql tutrls
-
@crazykyler005 It's the same thing regardless of whether or not you do it remotely or locally. He may not have the required stuff installed so it would be easier for him to just use his hosting plan to do it.
-
Always write SQL keywords with uppercase letter! Thanks.
-
Why MYSQL instead of ORACLE?
-
@xXxDiukexXx ok mr smarty pants, say me how to connect to database using C++ hm? Who's the retard -.-
-
WE WANT MORE!!!
-
Guys u can write sql in lower case, just use notepad++ and change the language to sql.
This will make the sql words in the query bold and also colour coded so it makes it very easy to read, then you can just copy and paste into the sql query box. =) -
Whens the next one up Bucky?
