A few years ago I built a personality test based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. My aim was to make a personality test that worked, but also was easy to use.
Over time many people have asked me to improve a few things with that original test. I can finally say that I fixed everything.

Hey Derek! I haven't finished watching the whole video, I just reached where you talk about Extroverts vs Introverts. I've always thought you either had to be one or the other. After recent thinking however, I feel that it could be more complicated than that. For example, could and extrovert have anxiety and display introverted tenancies?

Commander here. I enjoyed the "how to deal with others" part. People who lack empathy like myself can often appear brash to feelings-based types… which needs to be avoided in professional settings.

Would it perhaps be easier to remember and understand if each letter was an A or a B? A Bull would be a AAAA, a Bean an ABBB?

How can you figure out the personality of someone else in a quick way so you can learn how to deal with them in an appropriate way? Do you appoint them letters based on you own judgement and go with that?

The video informative, but it would have been good to leave the adding up for last since it's hard to remember how to do it without going back several times. But, that is not a complaint just my experience.

something funny, I got draw results for 3 sections.
I have never been found a good analysis for myself on these kind of tests. What's wrong with me -,-
Ended up as an INTP in this test but with two measurements being equal.
E=0 I=10
S=10 N=10
T=11 F=3
J=10 P=10
I've being doing these personality tests for a few years now and most every time I'm extremely Introverted with a clear Thinking bias but the other two letters are always only a few percentage apart. Is there any better way of finding out for sure?
I did feel a bit odd during this test though in the J/P portion as I would give an answer for column six easily and then find myself giving a contradictory answer for column seven.

i dont think im ever one way a majority of the time on alot of the questions i had a HARRRD time answering them cause on each one i think well if t benefits me to be one way im that and if its to my benefit to be another waay then ill be tht and im thinking bout my past and i act different all the time I guess im just always whatever it benefits me to be
for example in the question do i interact with many or few at a party
if it benefits me to be social ill be chating up a storm socialising and all that if it is to my benefit to be more reserved and exclusive in who i talk to then i will be -talk to only a few people and all that in a case where i dont get anything out of being chatty or reserved i choose chatty cause chatty is usually the best way to go to be well liked and being liked is usually good

I got results for planner, and read the description, and it seriously fits me perfectly. I also read the "how to deal with a planner" section, and the problems listed there are exactly what I have! This test is pretty much the only personality test that worked! Thanks!
Thanks so much, I really enjoyed the test! It said that I'm a Recipe Follower, and I was somewhat surprised because I have many bull-like qualities. I'm not exactly a man of few words… 🙂 The more I researched it though, I really felt like Recipe Follower fit me the best. Once again, thanks a ton for the really cool test!

This is terrific Derek! I took the test diligently and (rather ironically) got Counselor. It just amazed me how well it fit with what I and others believe my personality to be. I also learnt more about myself and it raised awareness to problems that are specific to me.

I scored both genius and inventor, how can someone tie in both;being an introvert and an extravert, all of those that know me personally say that I share characteristics of both personalities, how can this be?
And if there are specific personalities that we get along with, If it's no bother, I'd like to know what mine would be specifically
i am a recipe follower, and thats fine, but there is a way to change some aspects of my personality? i think that recipe followers are one step away from antisocial behavior, am i wrong? Grettings and sorry for my english.
When I took your old personality test, i came out to be a cal; but when I took the test again, I came out to be a planner! Is it possible that personalities change?

i would never describe myself as a genuis, yet this test says i am one and every single ability, personality trait and the description matches me. this test knows me better then i know myself.

Thanx for this Test. I came out Female Inventor, 2nd time. First time I had to go w/ defaults, which put me into Genius which DID NOT fit.
Inventor fits all but 1 trait., but I'm more of an introvert. I'll take it next week to see if I'm still the same outcome.

Mine was inventor/genius it was kind of split because it came out 5/5 for the first category. Then, after reading the description of both, inventor fits me so well!

Thank you, you are absolutely right. He gets very flustered when I dissect an issue so many ways. Thanks for bringing that to light, I've never noticed it consciously. But with most things, we are great, and he fits the RF prototype very much. I've looked at your other psychology and body language videos and they are also very informative. Thanks for the advice, the responses to everyone and all the things you post here. 🙂
