How'd you get 83? I'm so confused
-
2:46 man i think i skipped the step to grab a bb gun
-
for those who are interested, the symbol used here for wave length is indeed a greek letter (called lambda)
conventionally, the symbol used for (angular) frequency is also a greek letter, called omega. In it lower case form, omega looks a lot like the letter "w".
i think this might explain why we don't use a "w" to represent wavelength
ps conventionally, "f" is used to denote linear frequency (as it does in this video)
-
Thanks to this. Now i know
-
how can you find the frequency when you dont know the velocity,
-
thank you very easy to understand and execute.

Is the velocity of a wave in a given medium always constant? Such as, sound always travels at 343m/s at sea level, and light always travels at, well, the speed of light be it a little bit slower when traveling through air of course, but regarding like water waves, do they always 'travel' at the same velocity? This formula and explanation of it here are spot on and really nice, but I am just so stuck on this in particular..

THANK YOU IMMA PASS SCIENCE NOW!!!
-
where's the 1 over 12(s) come from?is it from the 5W over 1min?
-
That f was nicely done mate !
-
before u do zat, tek a BB gun and shoot teh dog tats barking on mi
-
"so, in order to find the velocity, first of all you have to grab a BB Gun and shoot this dog across from me that's barking right now, when you're done with that,…" I hope the dogs okay! Than you for this video. I understand this now.
-
called lambda giggidy
-
what is the speed of a wave in a vacuum ?
-
"…, so, in order to find the velocity, first of all you have to grab a BB Gun and shoot this dog across from me that's barking right now, when you're done with that, …"

he is surfing while measureing waves of water with a tape measurer

Thanks for the clear explanation. I was trying to understand this from a Khan Academy video. He got me so freaking confused…lol (Don't get me wrong ..I respect his knowledge) Just glad I found your video for a clearer explanation. p.s. Hope the dog is ok …lol
-
haha no one in particular, just the first thing that came to my mind
-
It's lamda->λάμδα
-
The greek symbol at the start is Lambda.
