I’ll cover my new workflow for this year, repeat some of my beginner p5.js stuff, talk about google classroom and p5.js, and do a coding challenge!

I slightly modified your Bubble Sort Viz to animate quicksort instead

Is this something I can add somewhere as a community contribution? -
Hey Dan , you are such an inspiring person and the perfect teacher . You made my passion for programming to become tremendous and discover new things . I'm grateful <3

You're great Dan! Thank you for all your hard work and stubbornness

VSCode tip: Instead of font-size, use Zoomlevel, it makes even the surrounding UI bigger (settings, left palette, bottom navbar, etc.). =)

1. try out https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/magnet/id441258766?mt=12&v0=WWW-NACA-ITUHOME-NEWAPPLICATIONS&ign-mpt=uo%3D2 or https://www.spectacleapp.com/ ; you can use it either for tiling or for resizing windows,,, i think you can also set up a layout, so on shortcut it will resize/move windows, easier than manual resize, etc.
2. you'll probably find easier to use iTerm with VSCode (Cmd + Tab), because switching between the integrated terminal and editor is kinda chaotic
3. you could also try setting up 2 profiles in iTerm (for you to use and on stream (different colors or bigger font size))
4. asked for password just for setting a default shell 😀
5. it changed the shell just for user 😀
6. great plugins for zsh: https://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-syntax-highlighting and https://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-autosuggestions
7. watch your $PATH, it's funky by default, sbin (admin programs) are not included i think, long time has passed since i had to fix it 😀
8. source can screw it up sometimes, especially if it loads something two times
9. there is also git and nvm plugin for oh-my-zsh

Hey Dan, just wanted to say that I got into programming around 2 years ago after graduating with a non-CS degree and feeling disillusioned by my job prospects. Your videos were some of the biggest influencing factors in keeping me motivated and energetic in pursuing software development without any guaranteed payoff and no one to keep me in line. As of last month, I now work as a SWE at Google. Thank you so much, I'm forever grateful!!

i'd recommend reducing your vscode font size and using the ctrl-+/-/num0 key shortcuts to zoom the whole environment (including menus and side panels). also, you really should just use the terminal integrated into vscode. it's so much quicker to just ctrl-` to toggle the window, also you can ctrl-click on filenames in the terminal to open them in vscode.

Random thought: the yellow background is kind of giving me a headache. Maybe a darker background with the purple/pink logo would look better and be more pleasing on the eyes?

Video started from Quick Sort, where is 2018 workflow.?
