Heyy Buccky!!
I Implemented your SAXParsing technique in my app. but the problem is the app is working fine in android 2.2 but it is giving exception in higher AVD(android 4.3) and phone.
Please guide me through this. -

Since the google weather API is dead, this seems to be a good alternative.
ht-tp://api.openweathermap(dot)org/data/2.5/weather?q=Lincoln,Nebraska&mode=xml&units=imperial -
Hi all.
I'm new with android.
now, google not support this api. plz show me other page support this.
Thanks -
the name is weather, whenever you can't see the name of the XML file just look in your Java class where you link the XML file "setContentView(R.layout.weather", hope that helps
-
Man if you are boring my former teachers where trying to kill me.
-
You can make your own XML parser and try to retrive frm that
or skype me = malik.imran143 -
Do you know of any other api which you can work with ?
-
Google kill their weather api SO these tutorial will wont work but same code can be use for any other api
-
look at his setContenView. the name is after "layout."
-
It sucks but Google has killed this weather API.
So guess this app won't work but still watch the videos! -
I put the exact same website into chrome, ie, and firefox, but I can't even access it. It brings up a sorry page from google. Why is that?
-
For some really strange reason I can only view the Google weather api in Internet explorer and not in chrome/firefox
-
For easier SAX parsing, a DOM example, and an XML pulling parser, try Googling:
IBM "Working with XML on Android"
The author is Michael Galpin. -

Oh, it's getting so good! The last set lost me for a bit, I had to reread, and actually go through the process of commenting up tutorial code to get it, but now I'm on fire!

Hi I love your vedios. you rock. I have a question.I am trying to experiment with different other sites like google weather api that you have used. Please tell me where I can find any other xml files like the one you have used. This would help me a lot lot…. for learning.
