    Hey! I have been your avid student till now. Just wondering, could you do a general tutorial (or set of tutorials) for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects CC? Not that there aren't many on Youtube, it's just your work is a lot superior(Not kidding)
    <TIA>

    I drew those in illustrator. They are all just lines and fills. I show exactly how a tool like this works near the end of my java tutorial. I make a paint application that s similar to illustrator

    Hey, I've got a question. With pictures such as the smiley face or the keyhole at the end of the video, Illustrator recognizes separately elements of them, for example, the eyes and mouth lines of the smiley, the rectangle and the circle part of the keyhole, etc.Do you import them as "solid" pictures and the programs recognizes them itself, or did you just draw them withing the program, so that's why it behaves with elements just like Photoshop's layers?
    Thanks, hopefully that's not too abstract

    I totally agree! I much prefer playing 2d games. I'm going to make a ton of them in my game development tutorials

    Thank you for posting these tutorials..awesome! and yes your 2D side-scrolling game reviews..love em! In today's world crazy with 'realism' in games..they really don't seem to care about the actual gameplay..gone are the days of Super Mario, Contra and Double Dragon..those were what gaming's all about:)

    @derekbanas ok now i understand. this is my question. i have two vector arts, i want to have one vector art as a background and the other vector art on the background without disapearing.

  22. Derek Banas Avatar

    @YNeedPeopleLikeMe Vector art is artwork that is drawn in Illustrator. It is just lines and curves connected with points. I'm not sure what your problem is because vector art will lay over other vector art? Maybe try saving the 2 pieces of artwork on separate layers?

  23. YNeedPeopleLikeMe Avatar

    @derekbanas Thank you for your answer. But i do not know what vector art is, i build both images in illustrator… how do i do?

    Thank you for the answer

  24. Derek Banas Avatar

    @YNeedPeopleLikeMe Are you talking about vector art or regular images like jpeg? If you are working with regular images it is better to use transparent PNG files. You can overlay them in Illustrator and they maintain their transparency. Does that answer the question?

  25. YNeedPeopleLikeMe Avatar

    Hello mate, i hope if you can help me. I have to pictures and i want to have 1 picture as a background and the other picture [on the first picture] as a front.

    When i do that either one of those pictures only shows.

    Thanks!
