Hi, i love this tutorial so much and i cant wait to see more!
i have just one question : as i understood i have to pay 99€ (i'm from italy) to publish my app on the app store, but do i have to keep paying 99€ to maintain my app on the store?
Picture this : i'm creating an app for my shop that basically will show my products, provide a sort of quick feed for my clients and allow them to buy my stuff. i do not intent to make future updates for my app, (basically i will only have a 1.0 version of my app) , so do i have to pay 99€ every year or, since i will not make updates, it's just a one-time 99€? -
TIB Academy is the Good Training Academy for learning iOS visit http://www.trainingmarathahalli.com/ios-training-in-marathahalli/

Can you have the debug emulator without buying/joining the program?
-
哈哈哈哈哈哈你真tm是个戏精
-
So there is no way to test out your app unless you pay the $99?
-
Not sure about others, but I dont have DevProgram and my Xcode is able to run my apps on real device like iPad, no problem here
-
Just $99 to p[lay with all the other big boys at the App park.
Which is hard to come by when you a broke college kid. -
do I need to buy an apple Mac in order to use the swift program ?
-
Wooooooo
-
Holy fuck it's even a separate fee for the Mac. JEEZUS… Hahaha Damn I love Android. Once my class is over goodbye Apple. P.S. I am using your OS in a VM so I didn't have to buy your shit computer
-
I have to pay them just to test an app that may make them money…. on an expensive piece of shit iPhone? Haha. Uh… no.
-
99$ PER YEAR?
No thanks, ill stick with android development then. -
You can now launch an app directly to the phone without having to pay for the developer program. I don't know current policy about selling in the app store though.
-
And do you need a developer program to have in app purchases?
-
Is there any way to do this on a windows machine?
-
How did you go to that app I'm trying to find it
-
does it work on windows?
-

-

Do I really need to pay $99 to be able to learn iOS programming? Or is it possible to follow the tutorial series without paying?
-
I really don't get the apple developer program. I could put up with it, if you only needed the account to actually sell your apps in THEIR app store. BUT if I want to install an app that i build in MY time on MY mac and want to install it on MY phone/tablet, that i bought from them with MY money, why do i have to pay Apple AGAIN? Imagine buying a pot and groceries from a supermarket, but when you cook a meal with them, you have to pay the supermarket again before you can eat it. That is just ridiculous!!! Also it's discouraging people to get into programming. Especially since they don't even offer monthly programs for like 10$ or so to try and check it out first.

Ah perfect timing, being following your videos for a long time now Bucky and I just purchased a Macbook Pro.
Time to learn some Swift 🙂 -
Two things I hate about apple development. I need a Mac and I need to sell an app to reclaim that subscription fee. Gutted. Wish there was a cheaper way to distribute a single free app I wanted to eventually make.
