    By the way, I'll answer you (a bit late, maybe). Java and Javascript has nothing in common except their begining. Javascript is exclusively for internet, navigators, and all that staff. In the other hand, Java is a language focused to make practical code fast (it depends) and easily, but using the resources of your machine and the operative system allow. Javascript is exclusively for internet, and it's great for that, sure.

    well it all depends on what your going for. If you want your game to be an online game that is hosted on a website like will say freewebarcade. then your gonna want to do an applet. If you want just a nice game that can be downloaded and played without the internet then the JFrame concept would be more suited for you.
