I know this is about two years old but you are the first person I have found to explain how this works, thank you!!
When my Windows p/c crashed I decided to go for Ubuntu, I am running 16.04.1 & am getting used to it, slowly. -

Sometimes people do things but they don't know how much that stuff affects people far and wide. Everyone has their hero somewhere on this planet. Mine is Bucky Roberts. We will never meet, that's for sure but what he has passed over to me unknowingly over the last 5 years has been enormous. I started following him from the 15 C Programming tutorials he made and has been hooked since then. I tell you buddy, you are loved here in Kenya. I can not even count the youth whose careers you have shaped with regards to the IT industry. To me you are the teacher I never had at the university. Keep doing it Bucky. A thumbs up for you man!!

Ok I have a lot of questions here cause im new in all of this. Its my
first time as LINUX user so… I downloaded LINUX MINT 18 Cinnamon and
how good is it compared to other LINUX versions? ( I dont know anything
about LINUX like i said i just started using it) Than I noticed on some other videos that
when they type something that is long instead of typing it whole they type
few letters and suddenly the whole path/word is there… What did they
did there? Than my system requirements are 8gb of ram, nvidia gforce gt
730 and processor AMD Athlon x4 840 quad core processor x2(idk what this
x2 means) anyway when i play dota 2 which ran perfectly on windows 10
and play a video on youtube I get fps drop if i pause the video
everything is normal if i play it again than the game lags again… Can
you help me here too? And last but not the least… Can I do programing
with LINUX terminal?( I downloaded LINUX cause I wanna learn to program
and beside UNIX i wanna learn C++) -
alexa…..STOP
