how do you sort tuples? e:g: like how so you sort "Bucky" in the video. even though its already sorted
-
The views are dropping like flies as I go on.
-
isn't there a direct way to sort in descending order??
-
Hi Bucky
-
well whats the difference between Tuples and Sequences? They are literally the same to me
-
which sort does the .sort() method use?
-
Do the bucky tuple!
-
i really like your tutorials. they are simple to follow and you explain them very clearly
-
how can i sort from the max to the min?
-
Once again mr. Buckey or thenewboston. your videos are great! absolutely fantastic. You general character provides an awesome comedic twist, with your comments about your own mistakes. But seriously. You make some difficult concepts really easy to understand. I can't wait for you to clear up loops and such for me later on!

This is the most attention i have ever devoted to any tutorial on youtube, and I don't think you realize the value of your subconscious self humor during all your tutorial exercises. Also where do I donate?
-
Thank you this is very helpful!
-
When are you going to add more videos to your awesome tutorial. I am really looking forward to learning more of python from you. Your tutorial is just fantastic and so easy to understand. You are a born teacher bucky. Keep up the good work. Rajan

Great tutorials! I like your style too!

Bucky is the man

Nooooooo, first video of this series with less than 100,000 views.
I'll stick, count on me! -
I don't have anything eloquent to say at this time except that I am new to 'this' language and trying to get up to speed as quickly as possible because I am totally exited about interacting with RasPi at some point very soon. Of course the core language of that hardware is Python.
-
I really like these tutorials session because it really emphasizes the main components of the Python language in an easy to understand way. It is really well done.

bucky i think is paramters ? 😛 not perantasies (can't spell I know)
-
good idea man 🙂
-
clever, i didn't think of that nice one 😀
-
And whats {1,2,3,4}?
-
The reason why the 'E' from "Easyhoss" is the first character when sorting is because it has a lower decimal value in the ASCII table. Uppercase chars have the decimal values 65 to 90 (A-Z) and lowercase chars have the decimal values 97 to 122 (a-z).

I once read a Tuple as being described this way:
If you went for a walk, you could note your coordinates at any instant in an (x,y) tuple.
If you wanted to record your journey, you could append your location every few seconds to a list. But you couldn't do it the other way around.
-
Thanks for the clarification, I was sitting here wondering what the practical use of tuples is.
-
Python can really help me with my homework xD
-
In Python both can have many types
-
'a list, but even worse' roflmao
-
aw shit!
-
i chuckled on that Easyhoss part. you we're amazed by yourself cheers ^^v
-
I can see how tuples would be useful to game and app developers.
-
How did you get 72 from 12? O_o
-
Can you convert a tuple to a list and vice versa?
-
Seems more like 72 likes to me.
