The other day I found that I didn’t have the normal supplies to make a meal. So, I decided to take the knowledge passed down to me by my Great Grandmother to cook without a recipe. In this video you’ll see how I did that.

The goal is to make a meal that targets all 5 tastes : sweet, bitter, salty, savory and sour. In doing so, I was able to turn a few random ingredients into a yummy soup.

All of the terms I use here came from my grandmother, so don’t attack me culinary experts 🙂
