wow! Listening to your vision and inspiration about designing logo's is crazy! I recently started getting in to graphic design…..more Logo design and I told my wife that I want people to see negative space. i want people to feel the logo. i want people to see a design and immediately know which kind of company it goes with. I just found your channel today – it's refreshing. thanks a lot for making this channel.

The Nike logo is a Wing not really a tick. It represents the wings of the godess "nike" (greece mythology)… I read that in a design book a few years ago, don't know which one it was

you are sweet couple and nice start

I prefer that your wife tell us a story abt what going in hospital in dramatic way and you visualize the story while you are discussing that with here that will b cool

You probably already know this but you say Nike wrong. Nike originated in Eugene Oregon and has its headquarters near Portland Oregon which is where I grew up. I hope this doesn't come off as rude or snobby but I was just giving you a heads up.

Awesome show! I like the input from a layman's perspective. And you are both great on cam!
Maybe you guys could talk about modular design on the next show! Its a very interesting field especially when applied to logo design! Also maybe talk about flexible logos such as MTV's.
    Anyway I had fun watching!

Really love the video man, keep up the good work! I love to see a creative discussion about one of the most important aspects of graphic design. My favourite logo is the floral decorative style of General Electric's. It hasn't changed in years as well!

The guy bought the Nike logo for $15 but, to shed light on it he did go back several years later and gave her $2 million and 6 million dollars in stock witch makes it worth it all.

The women who designed the nike logo did it for free but was given shares that is worth alot of money now!

I think that more than logos it's the minds behind it, like Paul Rand, Milton Glaser, Saul Bass, Paul Scher, Michael Beirut, Stefan Sagmeister and many others 🙂

Good video, I'm currently studying on a BA HONS Graphic Design course and my main interest in design is logos and that's what I would love to do for a living, I did a 2000+ word essay on logo designs and how they are different and what some mean and how they were created, most of the logos you mentioned I researched and you'd be surprised about some of the back stories to some famous logos, like NASA's main logo is called the meatball and that the Disney logo is a stylised version of Walt Disney's signature. any ways about your video I noticed when you added a preview of the logo you were both talking about there was sometimes a white background on some, so maybe think about using PNGs for future videos and maybe even try a semi-transparent background for the logos instead of the solid white paper texture that way the featured topic doesn't obstruct the view of you and you wife/guests. just some ideas and info, but good video once again and I look forward to more.

Omg, I thought of the Coca Cola logo first, then said Nike right before she did! What?!
